30AUG2026 – The Hokie Flying Club gave it’s beloved Cessnas a long overdue wash and wax today. The previous wash-n-wax was May 2025. About 17 folks (members and non-members) showed up to put a new shine on the 172 & Cardinal.
The whole operation (172 wash-and-wax and Cardinal wash-and-wax) took about 1.8 hours (per the hobbs meter 😉). The weather behaved with about 30% cloud coverage and a slight breeze kept the drying and waxing process perfectly timed. Here are some more pictures:
As always, be sure to frequently check the NOTAMs for two blindingly-bright super-shiny Cessnas flying around KBCB! Bring your Solar Eclipse glasses, just in case.
